Keith Alexander, the moderator of this tribe, has passed away. I have asked permission from Tribe to post information in Keith's profile about his death. I expect that to be posted in a day or so.
Until then, here is one memorial:
www.deesnider.com/CMS/conte...iew/167/2/
In the process, they gave me the list of tribes he was on and noted which he moderated. I asked for information on changing the moderator as one of the other tribes he moderates has already posted about figuring out how to pass this along.
This is what I was told:
To designate a new person as the moderator, please ask the tribe members to collectively appoint one. Once they have a consensus, the new mod. needs to send us a message from the e-mail used to log into his/her tribe account,
with the words "Moderator change - Knives & Blades" in the subject
header, indicating that they're going to take over. Please also ask that
they include a link to the discussion. They must already be a member of the
tribe to take over. We'll send out a confirmation message when the change is
complete.
So, once you decide, please send this to wendy@tribe.net.

Re: Keith Alexander 1963 - 2005
Tue, August 30, 2005 - 8:47 AMHow very sad.
I don't see a memorial when I click on that link.
What happened? Was he ill? He appears to have been fairly young. Always a shame.
*hug* How are *you* doing? It's very good of you to take care of these things for him. I'm sure he appreciates it. :)
