Sun, August 20, 2006 - 9:04 PMwell excuse me, figured a knives and swords tribe would have a little more interest in well... knives and swords. crap or not its still something. some people apreciate it. -

Re: cheap knives and novelty swords
Sun, August 20, 2006 - 9:13 PMWhich is why I didn't accuse you of spamming. I've seen a lot of posts linking to websites which related to the theme of the tribe that where clearly spam because they where trying to get people to pay attention to their crappy merchandise. Your post clearly acknowledges the merchandise as cheap and of interest to you, in my book that is enough to keep it from being spam, if only just barely so.
I was also being sarcastic in response to the other post. -

Re: cheap knives and novelty swords
Fri, August 25, 2006 - 1:10 AMthanks for understanding, this website took a lot to put together and i don't sell anything im not interested in, im also not the type of person to buy a 500 dollar sword and go hack up a tree with it or something, i was a boyscout, i use knive and blades, i don't hang them on my wall to stare at. -

Re: cheap knives and novelty swords
Fri, August 25, 2006 - 9:13 PMI sure hope you're not hacking up the backyard with those stainless steel sword-shaped novelties, either!! They'll break, you know. Haning on the wall is exactly what they are designed for.
There's nothing wrong with a wall-hanger - its a decoration. The problem comes in using a decoration as the thing it resembles. You wouldn't eat wax fruit, would you?
Always, always, always use a tool or impliment as it is intended. Use the machete for hacking up saplings. Use those stainless steel novelties for decorating the room. -

Re: cheap knives and novelty swords
Fri, August 25, 2006 - 9:36 PMAnd if you want a real sword go to Japan and have one made or talk to someone like Atar (Salamander Armoury?) or Oso Forge but be willing to pay for it.
