I was wondering if any of you had an opinion on the Gerber Fast Draw.

Sun, November 20, 2005 - 8:11 PMI handled one recently at the Big Gun and Knife show in Tulsa, OK. Not a bad looking knife. The tip is a little weak. They don't identify the steel, so it's probably AUS-6 or 420J or similar.
I like assisted openers. For the money, I'd keep shopping and find a Kershaw you like. -

Mon, December 5, 2005 - 8:49 PMI've owned Gerbers in the past, and that extra money you'll spend on a kershaw is definitely worth it. I wouldn't trade it. The assisted opener is awesome, snaps right out.
